i4Q AI is an automatic smart delivery of AI models to the appropriate edge devices enabling low latency and faster reactions to data in real-time.

Project: i4Q

Publisher: IBM

Technology: AI model life cycle management, Cloud-edge feedback control, edge placement, edge processing

Industry: Industry

INTRODUCTION

i4Q AI shall provide an AI used for identifying anomalies in a production environment and proposing actions to remedy the situation. An integrated overall AI model life cycle management to run adequately in an edge environment shall be pursued by i4Q AI. Edge AI based workloads require access to their AI models, which is challenging to keep up-to-date when taking into consideration a scalable environment with potentially constrained resources. Edge resident AI models will enable processing of data close to the source in which it was produced, thus opening the door for taking actions faster
