ABOUT

NORBLIS, a Danish start-up company, emerged as a spin-off from the Fiber Sensors and Supercontinuum group at the Department of Photonics Engineering, Technical University of Denmark. Established in 2018, the company is the collaborative effort of four founders who bring a wealth of expertise in various areas such as drawing optical fibers, fiber lasers, supercontinuum generation, mid-infrared photonics, optical coherence tomography, spectroscopy, and imaging. NORBLIS aspires to pioneer as the premier provider of compact, broadband, mid-infrared supercontinuum fiber lasers with capabilities extending beyond 10 μm. The company envisions integrating these cutting-edge sources into solution-oriented systems tailored for applications in optical coherence tomography, infrared spectroscopy, and imaging, marking a significant stride in advancing optical technologies.
