INTRODUCTION
4QDA is a Data Analytics Workflow Creator and Executor, built on top of free, open-source Big Data technologies, that enables the creation and execution of data analytics workflows for performing data analysis over large volumes and high-speed data sets.
This service layer, working together with processing engines, has the key function of creating value from the stored data by retrieving and showing useful information. Such information can have a critical impact in production by allowing facilities to improve their global efficiency when manufacturing, through the use of applications and mechanisms that consume this information and adapt the production on the fly. On the other hand, it can contribute for a better overall knowledge of production’s performance and weaknesses, either for real-time assessment or later analysis
